Fall is just pretty amazing! I’m one who for the most part, likes all seasons. (Now, I won’t lie, cause I can’t say I love winter) But, there are certain things I find enjoyable with each season. That being said, I do believe fall is at the top of the list. When you’re looking for perfection in seasons, Fall is just “it”.
*Where else can you get hoodie weather and beautiful sunshine in the same day?
*Waking up in the morning and snuggling the covers closer because of the cool morning air
*Leaves rustling on the porch as they have the last fling of the summer
*Seeing the sun rise and the fog lifting is like a picture of heaven
*Being able to snuggle under a cozy blanket and read a favorite magazine on the front porch= BLISS!
*Sipping hot chocolate just whenever you feel the urge because it’s fall
*The broken connection between you and your favorite flip-flops for their last good season of wear (And no, I’m not giving mine up completely yet; it’s still perfect flip-flop weather) 🙂
*The smell of all things pumpkin, apple, and ‘cinnamon-y’. My classroom smells like a wonderful haven of pure fall bliss!
*Seeing the leaves changing
*Seeing beautiful sunsets after a wonderful Sunday evening
*Singing songs and having good talks around a beautiful campfire
*Seeing fields being harvested
*Dewy mornings + dewy spider webs= PICTURE PERFECT!
*Pumpkins, gourds, pumpkins, and gourds
*Dogwood ‘berries’ that take me back to ‘good-old childhood days’ of threading them together and all kinds of other good fun
*Apple slices and caramel
*Evening sunshine filtering through the trees
*Beautiful fall mums (one of my mom’s favorite)
*The return of school and all things fun (can’t have a post without mentioning school!) 🙂
*Stacks and stacks of firewood and the wonderful feeling of knowing you have a dad that cares enough to prepare for the winter ahead of time
*Goldenrod, and the popping flowers that spring forth seeds when you touch them
*Looking out the window and seeing brilliant reds, oranges, and yellows.
*Smelling fresh, clean air through the window of a freshly cleaned room
BEAUTIFUL FALL! These two words describe it to a “T”. What do you enjoy most about fall?
“I’m so glad we live in a world where there are Octobers.”
